The Ceredigion Ambassador course is a free, online and easy to follow series of modules on a variety of topics with light-hearted quizzes at the end of each module.
The course will give you an insight into what attracts visitors to the area and help you discover more about Ceredigion’s distinctive towns and landscapes, local and Welsh culture and heritage and our special wildlife.
The current modules are
- Cardigan Bay
- Ceredigion’s Cambrian Mountains
- Aberystwyth
- Cardigan
- Ceredigion's Nature, Wildlife and Rural Landscapes
- Ceredigion: Wales Coast Path and National Trails
- Ceredigion food and drink
There are two compulsory introductory modules - Welcome to Ceredigion and an introduction to Welsh language and culture; take one more module of your choice to achieve Bronze level and a further 3 each for Silver and Gold respectively.
Further modules are in preparation to give you a wider choice.
Who is the Ceredigion Ambassadors course for?
The Ceredigion Ambassadors course is open to everyone and anyone who loves Ceredigion and may want to develop their knowledge to be able to confidently advise visitors when asked about what to do and see in Ceredigion. Combine this with your own knowledge of your locality, you will make an invaluable contribution to a positive experience of Ceredigion for visitors from around the world.
The course is ideal for front of house staff at hotels, shops, attractions and anywhere visitors may ask about what to do locally.
