Eating out

Ceredigion is a great food producing area of Wales, famed for its dairy produce as well as Cardigan Bay seafood, fish from the Teifi river or Cambrian Mountain lamb.  Ceredigion has great places to eat out, with menus prepared with care by chefs passionate about local ingredients.

From breakfast, through brunch or lunch through to afternoon tea and then dinner, you'll have plenty of choice to suit your pocket as well as your tastebuds.

Enjoy a ploughman's platter of local cheese, pickles and bread, and enjoy it with a glass of locally brewed beer. Make sure you taste fish and chips, or locally caught salmon or sewin with new potatoes, and in winter, a hearty bowl of traditional cawl.

Find places to eat across Ceredigion- from seaside cafes to country pubs - where you can choose from a menu making the most of locally produced ingredients, whether it's a Sunday lunch of local roast beef, lamb or pork, a curry or pizza or a vegetarian or vegan feast.
